Educators are the essential link between Junior Achievement and the children in the classroom. JA staff work closely with Administrators to verify the specific needs of each school system and each school, and jointly select the programs that are most appropriate for each school.
Teachers are essential partners with JA and volunteers in overseeing delivery of the programs in the classrooms. They inform the business volunteer on "what works best" with their students, assist in obtaining full student participation, often later follow-up or supplement what the volunteer can cover in the limited amount of time available to the volunteer, and, of course, ensure classroom discipline.
