You're the Inspiration!
Volunteers teach students the economics of life through free enterprise education and their own business experiences. On the other hand, students teach volunteers just how important it is to have positive role models and renew their faith in the younger generation.
When Junior Achievement volunteers step out of the office and into classrooms, amazing things happen. Volunteers tell us they get much more from their experience than they think they give. We provide the materials, but it’s volunteers who are the role models for students and an inspiration to the students and others.
Junior Achievement volunteers will impact the lives of more than 8,000 students in Mississippi this year. We want to thank each and every volunteer for sharing his or her time, energy and experience to help young people improve the quality of their lives.
Without volunteers, Junior Achievement could not exist!
Junior Achievement is passionate people inspiring kids to learn the economics of life through free enterprise education. JA enables caring adults to share their experience with students to show them what it takes to be successful. After all, kids are our future!
JA’s business and economics programs are for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The dynamic interaction between the volunteer and the students promotes active learning and brings theory to life.
JA’s unique approach integrates program materials, trainings, and support. JA is the successful bridge between education and business.
Junior Achievement volunteers teach fun, interactive lessons about business to kids in kindergarten through 12th grade, helping students understand how important a complete education is to future success. We have openings for classroom volunteers throughout the year. Contact us NOW to get involved! judy@ja-mississippi.org
